于伟，河南遂平人，主要从事板壳结构的安全与可靠性、缩比模型相似理论及应用、振动相关技术等方面的研究，涵盖能源、钢铁、船舶海洋、航空航天和土木水利等领域关键结构及装备。主持国家自然科学基金1项、省部级项目2项，参与多项国家级及省部级科研任务；在《工程力学》、《固体力学学报》《湖南大学学报(自然科学版)》、Thin-Walled Structures, International Journal of Structural Stability and Dynamics等本领域国内外知名期刊上发表SCI/EI学术论文10余篇，申请专利6项，已授权发明专利2项、实用新型2项，完成软件著作权1项。
